Privacy policy.
How MeetPi handles personal information under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles.
Draft
Being finalised with legal review before our first club onboards. Every claim below is true of the platform as built today, not a target we are describing early.
What we collect and why
See the collection notice for specifics. In short: member and guardian contact details, team, availability and attendance records, club money records, and the messages a club sends, collected only to run the club's administration.
How we store and protect it
Core data is stored in Australia. Each club's data is isolated at the database layer, forced, so one club can never see another's, even by mistake. Login links and sessions are stored only as one-way hashes; sensitive fields are encrypted at rest.
Who we share it with
Only the subprocessors listed in our subprocessor register. Some, named there, process data offshore; we minimise what reaches them and remain accountable for it. We never sell data and never use it for advertising.
Children's data
Most players are minors. Children's records are guardian-managed; children have no login and are never messaged directly. We are designing toward the OAIC Children's Online Privacy Code, ahead of its expected finalisation in late 2026, and will update this policy once that analysis is complete.
Retention and deletion
We keep data while your club uses MeetPi and delete or de-identify it on request, or when it is no longer needed, subject to any legal-hold requirement.
Your rights
You can request access to, or correction of, your information or your child's, held about you, at any time. Ask your club administrator, or contact us below.
Complaints and contact
Contact your club administrator or privacy@meetpi.app. If unresolved, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
This page is a website mirror of the policy served in the product itself. If the two ever disagree, tell us: report a problem.
